Tulsan artist, who with her husband, Glenn Wheete, were widely
know for the color block prints which were exhibited in may parts
of the United States and Europe.
During the 1930s, the Wheetes were invited by the Kansas City Woodcut Society to make a gift print which was reproduced in the several national magazines. The prints were made from blocks of wood or other materials on which colors were blended.
