William McKim was a drawing and lithography instructor at the Kansas City Art Institue. He exhibited at the 1939 World's Fair in New York in American Contemporary Art; Associated American Artist's Gallery, New York, 1941-1946; Art of Two Cities, Lifetime Exhibit, New York, 1945; Missouri Pavillion, New York World's Fair 1964; and his work traveled in a traveling exhibition of ten Missouri artists sponsored by the Missouri State Council on the Arts.
