Gordon Allen was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and currently resides in Savannah, Georgia. After high school Allen lived on an island in Chesapeake Bay, working as a fishing and duck hunting guide and oystering after the hunting season. His love of hunting and fishing is reflected in his beautiful etchings.
